Project Scope

Our scope of work included supply and application of Carbon Brick Lining in the following critical units at PPL’s facility:

• Gypsum Slurry Tank at PAP-I

• Hot & Cold Well Sump of Acidic Cooling Tower at PAP-II

The total lining area covered for this project was an impressive 461 square meters, showcasing our team’s efficiency, technical skill, and ability to handle large-scale shutdown maintenance assignments within tight timelines.

Materials & Technology Used

To meet the harsh chemical and thermal requirements of the plant, we supplied and applied the following materials:

• Impregnated Carbon Bricks – Known for their exceptional chemical resistance and structural integrity, ideal for highly acidic environments.

• Furan-based Carbon Cement – A durable and chemically inert bonding agent that enhances the life and performance of brick linings under corrosive conditions.

These materials were selected for their compatibility with aggressive chemical process conditions and for delivering long-term operational reliability.
